About the duo

Father and son, on stage and off

George brings more than 30 years of guitar. Jonathan brings guitar, keys, his own songs and a worship leader’s feel for a room. We both sing, and the harmonies are the heart of it.

Our sets mix the covers people sing along to, George’s fingerstyle guitar and Jonathan’s originals. We play around Chester County and the greater Philadelphia area.

George Ruch

Guitar & vocals

For George, guitar isn’t something he does. It’s something he is. He has a special passion for music and his own unique guitar style, from Tommy Emmanuel fingerstyle pieces to blues, Southern rock, bluegrass and popular music. In 2018 he attended Tommy Emmanuel’s guitar camp in Memphis and played with Tommy on the final night.

He also founded The Fret Life, a guitar lifestyle apparel brand, and shares his playing with more than 50,000 monthly viewers and 3,000+ subscribers on YouTube.
